Mount Bonnell, Austin TX

Our long-standing congregational tradition is to carry our Torah scroll up Mount Bonnell (the highest point in Austin) on Shavuot morning (although regretably our Torah scroll is being repaired at the moment).

• We meet at 7 am in the parking lot near the base of the stairs

• Please bring water and a hat.
• We climb the stairs slowly while reading the Psalms of Ascents, pausing as needed.
• Coffee and treats at the top as well as the best view in Austin.
• Be on our way home by 8am at the latest.
